2-Day Airline Pilot Introductory Course

Experience first-hand the actual in-cockpit tasks that need to be undertaken in our Boeing 737-800 Simulator.

As part of the program, you will learn how to execute all the tasks required to prepare the Boeing 737-800 for departure i.e. file the flight plan, determine fuel required, program the Flight Management Computer etc. followed by the taxi and takeoff.

Next you will learn how to navigate and climb the jet to cruising altitude. During cruise, you can relax a little and even have your meal. However if it is a short regional flight, you will soon have to prepare the aircraft for descent and arrival.

Finally, you will experience how to configure the 737-800 for landing and execute a smooth landing with the aid of the Instrument Landing System (ILS).

Your flight ends after taxiing the aircraft to the gate and stopping at the exact spot with the aid of a Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) or marshaller, setting the parking brakes and shutting down the two engines.

Finally, you will learn how to secure the aircraft before taking your leave.

2-Day Fighter Pilot Introductory Course

This 2-day introductory course provides an in-depth look at F16 and F18 fighter jets, with a focus on functionality, capabilities, and an immersive flight simulator experience. It enhances understanding of these aircrafts, shedding light on their performance, limitations, and mission capabilities, both Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground.

The course outlines the weaponry arsenal of these jets, underlining weapon suitability for specific missions. Participants are guided through basic maneuvers for Air-to-Air combat and principles of mission planning for Air-to-Ground operations, emphasizing the importance of tactical planning and execution.

A mission planning exercise encourages participants to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, enhancing learning through experience. The exercise is followed by a debriefing session to promote reflection and continuous improvement. Advanced combat lessons are also introduced, laying groundwork for more specialized studies in the future.

The program concludes with an interactive flight simulator experience, offering participants a taste of controlling these complex machines in a safe environment. Upon completion, participants gain a robust understanding of F16 and F18 operations, preparing them for more advanced training.

10-Week Recreational Pilot Certificate Preparatory Course

Have you ever dreamt of soaring through the skies, feeling the exhilaration of piloting your own aircraft? If so, a Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC) is your ticket to achieving that dream!

An RPC, issued by Recreational Aviation Australia Ltd (RAAus), is a fantastic option for recreational pilots who don’t require the extra privileges of a Private Pilot License (PPL). With an RPC, you can take to the skies in a 1 or 2 seat recreationally registered aircraft, limited to a total take-off weight of 600kgs.

The Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC) is particularly suitable for 13 to 15-year-olds with a passion for aviation. The minimum age for in-aircraft flight training is just 14 years old, compared to 16 for a PPL. Plus, the minimum age to qualify for an RPC is only 15 years old, compared to 17 for a PPL.

The Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC) is also suitable for commercial pilot candidates who wish to pursue an airline pilot career as well as aspiring pilots who wish to earn a pilot certificate with a financial outlay that is significantly smaller than that of a Private Pilot License.
